Program Description
By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our sign-up form, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Jacques Roy for Mayor. Messages may include campaign updates, event invitations and reminders, volunteer opportunities, get-out-the-vote information, and requests for support.
Consent
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of support, of making a contribution, or of volunteering with the Campaign. You may support the Campaign without ever opting in to text messages.
Some messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system (autodialer). By checking the consent box, you agree to receive messages sent by autodialer at the number you provide.
You must be the subscriber or the customary user of the mobile number you provide, and you must be at least 18 years old to opt in.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You should expect up to 6 messages per month.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. The Campaign does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for messages sent or received according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
HELP and STOP
- Reply HELP at any time for assistance, or contact us at jacquesroycampaign@gmail.com or 318-474-0455.
- Reply STOP at any time to cancel. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending you text messages. You may also be able to opt out by replying END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT.
If you opt out and later wish to rejoin, you may sign up again through our website.
Mobile Information Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, and are excluded from every category of information sharing described in our Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared only with service providers who help us operate the messaging program (for example, our messaging platform vendor), and only for that purpose.
Carriers and Delivery
Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Supported Carriers
Our messaging program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers. Carrier participation may change without notice.
2. Eligibility and Use of This Site
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
